Just a short four-hour drive from the vibrant city of Nairobi lies the breathtaking Amboseli National Park – home to Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and some of the continent’s most iconic wildlife. Here at the base of the world’s largest free-standing mountain, you’ll encounter four of the “Big Five” and marvel at the awe-inspiring landscape that defines Kenya’s second most visited park.
Amboseli is renowned for good reason – beyond the dramatic backdrop of Kilimanjaro, it’s one of the very best places on earth to witness free-ranging elephants. The park’s open terrain and vast wildlife ensure you’ll have front-row views of these majestic giants as they roam in large, impressive herds.

Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or directly from the airport. Step into your 4×4 safari vehicle as we set off toward Amboseli National Park along the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa Road.
On the way, enjoy the sight of the African sunrise casting its golden glow across the savannah. You’ll pass by traditional homesteads and spot Maasai herdsmen in their strikingly colorful shukas, gracefully tending to their cattle – a glimpse into authentic Kenyan life.
We’ll rise with the safari dawn to witness the wildlife as it greets a new day. This pre-breakfast game drive is a magical time, with the first light spilling across the savannah, painting the landscape in color and stirring the park’s incredible inhabitants to life.
After enjoying breakfast at our lodge or camp, we’ll head out again for a mid-morning drive, tracking more of Amboseli’s wildlife. Keep an eye out for hyenas, jackals, foxes, monkeys, and baboons, alongside the great game animals that share this extraordinary wilderness.
A wholesome lunch will mark the close of our Amboseli adventure before we make our return journey to Nairobi.
